Overview

LIMAS manufactures standard solid shaft and open (ribbon) type screws, both available in U-shaped or omega housings, depending on factors such as product sensitivity, fill percentage and elevation angle.

The open screw can handle a larger volume of product, because of the absence of a shaft, whilst the omega screw housing prevents crushing of the product.

Intrinsically, all the screws are easy to clean and are all provided with protection to prevent access to moving parts, even at the infeed and outfeed.
