Optical sorting

Overview

Optical sorting means using camera technology to inspect potatoes and other root vegetables, peeled or unpeeled.

LIMAS has, for many years, worked in cooperation with SELECT which, among other things, manufactures optical sorters.

The sensitivity is adjustable for both defects (spots), size and colour. The sorting machine is dependable, has a low energy consumption and a low sound level.
